Pine Barn Inn Hotel Policies

No Smoking:        As of April 1st, 2007 the Pine Barn Inn is a nonsmoking facility and we are no longer offering smoking rooms. If you need to smoke, please use the designated smoking areas outside. If you smoke in a nonsmoking room, your credit card will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $250. Please respect our facility and future guests by not smoking in your room. We are doing our best to offer the cleanest, freshest rooms possible to all of our guests. Thank you for your help in reaching this goal by not smoking indoors at our facility.
Online Booking:     Currently only a limited selection of our rooms are available for online booking. If you don't find what you want online, please check with us by phone.
We continue to offer quick, friendly, and helpful assistance to those who prefer to make room or restaurant reservations by phone. Typically making a reservation takes only a few minutes. Reservation Guarantee:       All reservations require guarantee of payment of one night's lodging with your valid CC or an advance deposit*.
*Friday/Saturday Arrivals:      A refundable advance deposit of one night's lodging is required to hold a room for a Friday or Saturday night arrival during our busier weekend season from May through October.
Late Arrival:    With your CC guarantee or advance deposit we will hold your room all night unless you cancel. Our front desk is open 24 hours a day for your convenience.
Cancellation Policies:

For Online Reservations: Cancellations are allowed without penalty until 4pm 48 hours prior to your arrival. An advance deposit is required for all online reservations. This deposit is only partially refundable due to a nonrefundable commission charged by our online booking agent which applies to all online reservations. The Pine Barn Inn's portion of this deposit will be refunded if you cancel 48 hours in advance. You may call our switchboard, (570)275-2071, or reservations line, (800)627-2276, at any time (24/7) to cancel your reservation. Get a cancellation number as your proof of cancellation to avoid a No Show charge.
For Reservations made by phone or in person: Cancellations are allowed without penalty until 6pm 24 hours prior to your arrival. If we have received a deposit, the deposit will be refunded. You may call our switchboard, (570)275-2071, or reservations line, (800)627-2276, at any time (24/7) to cancel your reservation. Get a cancellation number as your proof of cancellation to avoid a No Show charge.

Late Cancellations:    Cancellations received after our applicable cancellation policy time will normally be billed one night's lodging. However, if you do call to cancel after our cancellation time, we may waive assessment of the Late Cancel Fee if we are able to rent your room to another guest. So, if you are not coming, please call us! If you do not call us, we will hold your room all night long and will be much less likely to be sympathetic to a request to waive the Late Cancel fee than if you had called the evening before.
No Shows:        The guarantee CC will be billed for a No Show fee equal to one night's lodging or your deposit will be forfeited to cover this fee. You must have your cancellation number as proof of cancellation to avoid this charge. If your guarantee CC is declined, we will need an advance deposit for your next reservation.
Reservation Room Types:    The Pine Barn Inn provides our guests with a wide variety of guest room accommodations. We will endeavor to reserve just the type of room that you wish, but sometimes circumstances make it impossible to have available your first choice. many of our guests, due to the nature of their visit, cannot always be definite as to the length of their stay. We try to anticipate these kinds of uncertainties and pay particular attention to our advance reservations. If we cannot give you exactly the room that you wanted, please be assured that we have done everything within our power to suit your preferences.
Discounts:    We offer a AAA or AARP discount only for rooms in our 300 building. You must show your valid membership card at Checkin to receive the discount.
Check-in and Check-out Times: Check-out time is 1:00pm. Check-in is normally after 3pm, however, if a room is available after 11am you are welcome to register and occupy that room. Earlier check-ins CANNOT be guaranteed without rental of the room for the previous night due to our standard Check-out time of 1:00pm.
Late Checkouts:     Arrangements for late check-outs MUST be made at the Front Desk and can only be offered on an AS AVAILABLE basis.   An extra charge is added for late checkouts. After 6:00pm check-outs will be charged an additional night.
No Pets:        We no longer allow pets in any of our hotel rooms in consideration of other current and future guests of the Inn. If you bring a pet into your room you will be charged an additional cleaning fee. Please respect our facility by calling us for a referral to a local boarding kennel or making alternative arrangements.
Restaurant Hours:    Our restaurant is open for dining from 7a-10p Monday-Friday, 8a-10p on Saturday, and 8a-8p on Sunday with a few holiday exceptions. Room Service is available during these hours. We serve breakfast until 11am, lunch until 5pm, and dinner until closing. Our tavern remains open for beverages until 12am Monday-Saturday and until 9pm on Sunday.
Shuttle Service to Hospital:    Available on weekdays to the Medical Center, free of charge, from the Inn.
Special Needs:    A limited number of cots, cribs, and rooms with refrigerator/microwave units are available. We also have several ADA-compliant rooms equipped with support bars/seats in the bathroom. Please mention any special requests when making your reservation so that we may prepare properly for your arrival.
